This is a realism exorcise we had to do in college. I’m one where even tho hyper-realism is impressive, get a camera, it’s not the point of the medium. However, I do subscribe to a hyper-realism in oils that is somehow more real than realism. It’s not only realistic but it’s moving, living, and breathing. Movement is captured and energy conveyed. You know what I mean?
