While nearing completion of my graphic and web design program, I am (wrongfully) worried I am not doing enough. So, I have decided to learn Russian. That is book number one on the shelf this week. Actually it is more of a cd….and it is in the car, and I must look ridiculous in traffic repeating Russian to myself, but hey! what is traffic for? So back to the shelf, I have some good graphic novels this week. I am going back and re-reading Sin City. I am on “a dame to kill for”. Normally I could pound all of them in a week but the library had a few odd ones checked out so…library keeps me at bay (*shakes fist). I also have Akira one on the shelf. One would think this is enough, but “Cerebus” has been an ongoing project… that is a ridiculously awesome series… I am doing “Janka’s story” now. Here is one of the panels, I love the art of this book! This is enough about my slightly unrelated influences this week.
